Milan is not just my city. Milan is the capital of fashion, food and design. There’s no way to explain how much I love my city, although
the most people who live here, can’t appreciate this place. They say it’s too dirty, full of smog and city dwellers are always in a hurry.
Well,
that’s true, but I love living here, because there’s all you need and you can
do everything you want.
Want
to go and have some food? Best restaurants are here!
Want
to relax? Well, not all the parks are as beautiful as others, but you can
choose the perfect one.
Want
to go shopping? Ladies and gentlemen, that’s the right place.
Anyway,
this week Milan put up the Furniture Exhibition, a really interesting event
that shows new design projects and inventions.
Walking
around the streets where the show has place is so funny, and as always, I
enjoyed it!
The
only flaw is that the previous years they gave you loads of gifts and samples
and offered you the cocktail or some tastes.
This
year they were all more penny-pinching, and you had to pay for everything.
Okay, not actually everything.
I
collected a bag, a makeup voucher from Sephora and Guerlain, a phone charger and a CD with some photos. Nothing more.
However
the show was great and the food I ate too.
*I
also tried the California Bakery’s cheesecake which tasted SO good but was so
fattening as well. I gave myself a little treat. But be silent guys, one piece
cost me 5,50 euros! (about 7$ or 4,5£)*
I
went to the exhibition three times (I had nothing to do aha), and I loved every
moment.
On
Wednesday I was with a mate of mine, we had dinner there and had a really good
time visiting the rooms.
Then,
I went with my best friend on Saturday and with my mum on Sunday. The exciting
thing was that for the first time I entered to places that required invitations
just saying I’m a blogger. Wow.
Sounds
stupid, but for me it is NOT. It’s crazy. And weird.
In
one of those buildings I watched Davide Oldani (a famous Italian chef) making
one of his dish.
I
could taste that but there was too much to wait in line before doing it and it was
going to be late.
I
took plenty of photos but I thought it would have been boring posting all of
them here. So, enjoy sneaking a peak to my pics.
Love,
Sara
