Helloo lovelies,
as almost all of you should
already know thanks to instagram (if you don't, follow me here and
you won't miss any update) last week I went to the spa. They were born as the
thermal baths among the Ancient Romans and they keep being one of the most
relaxing places for people who want to leave daily activities and get off.
And this is one of the reasons
why I spent a whole evening there. The second one is that it was my best
friend's gift for my birthday (which actually was in September but we couldn't
find a day that was good for both). Well, a great present, I say!
We got there at 5.30 pm and we
came back home at half past midnight: the spa in the dark was wonderful …
I posted some pictures above,
not all taken by me because firstly, my phone died, secondly, I didn't want it
to be stolen so I put it in a safe.
Anyway, we had a really good
time. There were loads of different relax rooms as well as saunas (for people
who don't know, they're steam baths). We tried all of them!
There were also plenty of
pools, some hot and some cold, and everything had a pursuit, for example a few
opened skin pores, others reactivated the circulation.
We rested on special
mattresses made of water, which were SO COMFY, you can't even imagine.
The mattresses of my life.
The spa in Milan is situated
within the roman ramparts in the city center, as you can see in two of my pics,
a very striking place.
The garden and a room inside
the building are full of tables where you can take healthy snacks as well as
fruit, vegetables, juices, tea, yogurt, cereals and... Champagne !!
I also had sushi because I
wanted to try it for the second time and I quite liked it!
Moreover, the spa had everything
(literally everything) you might need. They give you bathrobes,
towels, flip flops, shampoos, hairsprays, body lotions and even tampons! *aha*
You just have to take the
swimsuit with you and enjoy your evening!
Now that I have my skin so
soft, I'm ready to leave for Cambridge!
That's all guys, hope you
enjoyed it!
Love,
Sara ♡
